What is Athenaeum?
Welcome to virtual Athenaeum 2021!
Athenaeum is a non-competitive Arts & Sciences showcase, hosted by the Barony of Madrone, which has become the largest arts and sciences display event in the Kingdom of An Tir and is highly anticipated every year.
The most recent event was online June 26 & 27, 2021, as Virtual Athenaeum. This website is where you will find the exhibits for two years of Virtual Athenaeum, and the links and information used to make the event work.
Check out the amazing array of Exhibits via the tab above, where you can leave comments & questions for the exhibitors. On the weekend of the event itself was when people used the Event Schedule tab above to join us for live Group Presentations by many of the exhibitors, a brief virtual Court and Zoom Salons where you could casually chat with others that share your interests in an array of subjects, or just hang out in the Social Room.
We look forward to seeing you and sharing the joy of Arts & Sciences in An Tir!
We are overjoyed at the success of our first Virtual Athenaeum which took place on July 18, 2020 and we look forward to more stops along the Road to Athenaeum in the months ahead. It was wonderful to see the works of artisans and join with you in positive community.
We especially look forward to welcoming the artisans of An Tir back to Athenaeum again in the summer of 2021.
— Enzio & Spike, Baron and Baroness of Madrone
